The Ted & Mary Greig Rhododendron Garden

Ted and Mary Greig were the owners of a rhododendron nursery in Royston, a town in the Vancouver Island. Developing their own hybrids and provided 10 percent of the rhododendrons in U.S. and Canada.

In the 60s, before retirement, the city of Vancouver got its collection of shrubs. About 4500 plants are in the garden, which surrounds the golf course in Stanley Park. From March to September the plants bloom, and each month features a different selection of colors and perfume.
